Chris Casey has been one of our global partners for many years, first in Bosnia and now with OneKingdom, who works with teams in the Balkans and into the rest of Europe, using creative efforts to connect people who are faith curious into discipling relationships.
OneKingdom is hosting a missionary conference for their team. The First Christian team going to Hungary will assist in the effectiveness of the conference by providing childcare for the TCKs (Third Culture Kids), age ranges infant-teen, attending the conference.

Who are TCKs?
A TCK is a Third Culture Kid. They’re not growing up in their parent’s culture but they aren’t fully from the place they are living. We’ll be working with leaders to provide intentional care and programs with that background in mind.
What will we be doing?
Each day during the conference we will be assisting Maleah Weiss, the TCK Care Coordinator for an organization called Team Expansion, in age-appropriate lessons, activities, and care for kids and students. There are many countries represented, so each kid’s background is unique.
What’s the schedule?
We will leave on Saturday, March 7, land and settle on March 8, train and begin the conference on March 9, and then continue through the week. We’ll travel back to Budapest, Hungary, on Friday, March 13, and then travel home on Saturday, March 14.
Where do we stay?
All conference participants and workers will stay at a hotel in Siófok, Hungary.
How do we handle transportation and travel?
First Christian will help manage and purchase plane tickets and hotel stays.
Who can participate?
Due to the age of the TCKs we will be working with, all participants must be 18 or older.
Are background checks required?
Yes, background checks will be required.
What will we do to prepare?
We will have several Zoom or in-person gatherings, and all needed details on packing, travel, etc, will be provided!
